This workshop introduces health insurance contracting and credentialing and discusses the different types of insurance models, commercial payers, and government payers (e.g., Medicare, Medicaid, etc.). This is a great refresher for experienced coders and billers.

All attendees who plan to take any national certification exam offered by the American Academy of Professional Coders (AAPC) are strongly encouraged to use the current year CPT®, ICD-10-CM, and HCPCS Level II coding books.
